PLANET CARERS
Waste less. Care more. Simple really, or is it? This is the reality: our alternative format products (so bag-in-box and can for now) are not perfect when it comes to sustainability (there is no recyclable tap available on the market for our bag-in-box). Nor should we pretend there is never an occasion to serve up a glass bottle of your special vino (that’s why we brought you Bowl Gabber in a bottle also!). We believe that we should all have options that fit our lifestyle and consumption habits, and that offering a full suite of formats is the way to improve, step-by-step, the mark we leave on our planet. There are statistics and supporters for and against all format choices with neither side really “winning” with any conviction. Instead of blinding you with numbers, we present below a few simple facts.
CO2 MATTERS

BOX
Lighter and compact materials means it takes less carbon emissions to transport
If you box wine local to distribution (UK) this reduces weight and carbon transport footprint even further
It requires less energy to reproduce boxes from recycled materials

CAN
Lighter and compact materials means it takes less carbon emissions to transport
If you can wine local to distribution (UK) this reduces weight and carbon transport footprint even further
It requires less energy to reproduce cans from recycled materials

BOTTLE
Heavier materials means it takes more carbon emissions to transport
If you bottle wine local to distribution (UK) this helps reduce weight and carbon transport footprint
It requires more energy to reproduce bottles from recycled materials
Recycling is the name of the game
